AI Content Policy
DraftEffective date will be set at launch
The Studio creates videos and images with AI. You are responsible for your prompts, uploads and how you use the results. This Policy is part of the Terms of Service.
1. What you may not create
1.1. Do not create or upload:
- any sexual content involving minors or anyone who appears to be a minor;
- pornography or sexual violence;
- content that incites violence, terrorism, hatred, self-harm or harassment;
- the face, body or voice of a real person without their consent, including deepfakes, or content that defames someone;
- fake documents, money or “evidence”, or content meant to deceive or defraud;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- anything else illegal where you live or where you publish it.
1.2. Model developers may have stricter rules, and a Model may refuse a request.
2. Other people, voices and works
2.1. If you upload a photo or video of a person, you confirm that the person agrees. For a child, you need a parent’s consent.
2.2. The same applies to work you send for an Iris review: send other people’s images or voices only with their consent.
2.3. Do not present an AI video as real footage of an event or as the real words of a real person.
2.4. Use other people’s works, characters, logos and music only as the law or the rights holder allows.
3. Labelling AI content
3.1. When you publish realistic AI images, video or audio of people, places or events, say clearly that they are AI-generated. In the EU this is required for deepfakes used for professional purposes (Art. 50(4) of the EU AI Act), and many platforms require it in their rules.
3.2. We mark Studio results as AI-generated in a machine-readable way (metadata and, where the Model supports it, a watermark), as the EU AI Act requires from providers of generative AI (Art. 50(2)). Some Models add their own visible or invisible marks. Do not remove or alter these marks.
4. Rights to results
4.1. We claim no rights to your generation results. Use of results also depends on the terms of the Model developer shown in the Studio. Output created by AI without human creative input may not be protected by copyright in some countries.
5. Breaches and reports
5.1. If you break this Policy, we may remove content, suspend Studio access or close your account under the Terms of Service. Credits spent on a generation that breaks this Policy are not returned.
5.2. To report content that breaks the law or your rights, email contact email or write to us via Support on the website (the “Ask a human” button; when signed in, also the Support tab in your account) with where the content is, why it is illegal, your name and email, and a statement that your report is accurate and in good faith. We will confirm receipt and tell you our decision.
